A delegation from the General Syndicate of Doctors had gone to the Nasser Institute Hospital to check on the doctors with the horrific accident of 15 doctors from Minya, while they were going to train in the Women’s Health Initiative Program at the Training Institute in Cairo with a batch of assignment 2017, and the delegation of the General Syndicate included: Hussein Khairy, head of the Doctors ’Syndicate, Dr. Nagwa El-Shafei, the undersecretary of the union, Dr. Ehab El-Taher, Secretary General of the Syndicate, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Treasurer, Dr. Mona Mina, a former Council member, and Dr. Ahmed Safwat, Member of the Cairo Medical Syndicate, and from the Ministry of Health both Dr. Sherif Wadih Assistant Minister the health, And Dr. Mohamed Shawky, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Cairo.
The Egyptian Doctors Syndicate called the female doctors the martyrs of the profession, who passed away, and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured doctors.
The Ministry of Health had paid a large number of ambulances to transport the injured and the dead quickly, and the dead bodies were placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecution, and the degree of preparedness was raised for all hospitals in the Red Sea Governorate, and the Ministry confirmed that all the injured are receiving the necessary medical care and are being followed up until they leave after their health condition improves And, the Ministry of Health’s Crisis and Emergency Chamber is following up the case of the injured until they are cured.
