FLORIDA, KOMPAS.com – Brian Laundrie admits to killing his celebrity girlfriend Gabby Petito in an abandoned notebook in a Florida swamp where he committed suicide, but the man insists his crimes were committed on the basis of “compassion.”
“I ended his life,” he wrote in Brian Laundrie’s notes, which were discovered by the FBI in October, according to Fox News as reported New York Post on Friday (24/6/2022).

“I thought it was an act of compassion, that’s what he wanted, but now I see all the mistakes I made. I panicked. I was surprised.”
Laundrie claims that she wants to free Petito from his misery, after the woman falls and injures herself in the Wyoming wilderness.
The man said he immediately regretted his actions after killing the woman he was reportedly engaged to.
“From the moment I decided to take the pain away, I knew I couldn’t go on without him,” she wrote.
Petito, 22, from Long Island, went missing en route with Laundrie and was found strangled at a campsite near the Grand Tetons on September 19.
Laundrie disappeared after Gabby Petito’s death, sparking a nationwide manhunt for the suspected killer in the case.

The man was later found dead from a gunshot wound to the head at Myakkahatchee Creek Neighborhood Park near Sarasota.
In the latest note found, the killer apologized and asked the authorities not to put pressure on his family.
“Please don’t make life more difficult for my family,” he wrote in the notebook he found.
“They lost a son and a daughter. The most beautiful girl in the world. Gabby I’m sorry.”
He added, “I apologize to my family. This is a shock to them and also a terrible sadness. ”
