The municipalities of southern Martinique linked to the Carrère station in Lamentin

The inhabitants of the South will now be able to reach the Carrère au Lamentin station, thanks to the new interconnection of the transport network SudLib at the TCSP. The 5 new express lines and their two shuttles will be operational from Monday 23 November 2020.

It is in a press release (dated November 19, 2020) that SudLib announced the opening of 5 additional lines, by putting into service 2 new shuttles as of Monday 23 November.

Users of Sainte-Anne, Marin, Vauclin, François, Ducos, Rivière-Pilote, Sainte-Luce and Rivière-Salée can directly reach the center station, at Carrère au Lamentin.

It will be possible and simple to plan, for example, a journey by public transport between the Josseaud district of Rivière-Pilote and the Carrère station.

The public carrier specifies that “new buses have been added to the existing fleet”, dedicated to these express lines, with these air-conditioned vehicles on board, “Free access to the WIFI network. It will also be possible to top up the PassLib card directly on the bus”.

This new service will offer, both to the inhabitants of the South wishing to join Carrère, and to the travelers wishing to go to the South from Carrère, the possibility of using public transport with the associated advantages: serenity of journeys, reduction carbon footprint and decongestion of the road network.
