According to Counterpoint Research, a market research institute, on the 21st (local time), iPhone 12 ranked first in 5G smartphone sales and 16% market share. The iPhone 12 Pro ranked second, taking 8%. The combined share of the two products is 24%, accounting for a quarter of the total 5G smartphone sales.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which ranked first in 5G smartphone sales in September, occupied 4% of the market and was pushed back to third place. Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 Plus each occupied 2% of the market share and ranked 8th and 9th in 5G smartphone sales.

Apple’s first 5G iPhone made a blast from the very beginning of its launch.
