At a press conference, the head of the federal Executive also claimed that there are organizations and activists that are not asking to investigate Genaro García Luna, public security director, and who is currently detained and investigated in the United States, so he said that they suffer from “amnesia.”
“There are organizations related to conservatism that on the issue of violence are not demanding, are not demanding, an explanation at least to the governments that made the decision to use force, those organizations are not asking to investigate thoroughly how the Secretary of Public Security of (Felipe) Calderón was involved with crime, that man who is being held in New York, Garcia, when have they heard about it (Genaro) García Luna? ”
