Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, said that the ministry, during its plan for the second wave of the Coronavirus, excludes a complete closure. And during her speech at the press conference held at the World Health Organization for the Eastern Mediterranean Region, she continued that the ministry will only partially close the places or areas that will increase the number of injuries in an exaggerated manner.
Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, said that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi extended a helping hand to all countries of the world in the Coronavirus pandemic and other crises, starting with his directives to visit China, Italy and other countries, as well as sending aid to the state of Lebanon in the explosion of the Lebanese port and torrents of Sudan.
Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, sent a message to parents, coinciding with the start of the new school year. The minister said, “It is necessary to pay attention to personal hygiene and to wear masks and vaccinations on time.”
And during her speech at the press conference now held at the World Health Organization, she continued: “School workers have been trained to deal with students and the Coronavirus crisis,” pointing to the launch of awareness campaigns on social media platforms to raise awareness of students and parents.
The Minister said, that the hospitals of the Ministry of Health are ready for the winter season to confront the emerging Corona virus, pointing out that 45 chest and fever hospitals have been developed and rehabilitated, and the presence of 600 hospitals at the level of the governorates of the Republic are ready for the second wave, and there is still development and training for medical staff on protocols for treating Corona virus.
She added that the success of combating the Corona virus is not only the administration of the Ministry of Health, but rather the administration of the state together and adopting the political leadership for this file, adding that Egypt is ready with all health hospitals, the university, the armed forces and the civil sector to combat the Corona virus.
