“Business Insider” reports that a “Meta” employee received an e-mail from the company on Wednesday morning stating that she was fired. It was a big blow to the woman.

Mass layoffs in the company “Meta” have a very negative effect on the mood of the employees, because there is a lot of uncertainty – whether there will be another wave of layoffs, or whether one should expect job losses.

“At 5.55am this morning I received an email saying I was on the layoff list. It’s nine in the morning and I still don’t know if I’ve fully understood what’s going on,” said Jenny Saxton, now a former employee of the company.

She was a technical specialist who joined the company in August 2021. Saxton expressed that the e-mail was a big shock for her, which made her go through various emotions.

“Meta was my dream company and it was my dream job. I was promoted in July and I was very happy. I’ve been working on great projects and getting fired really hurts. It is very difficult to accept what happened,” added Saxton.
