Ahead of Putin’s annual press conference on December 14, Russian “Levada Center“conducted a survey of Russians to find out what question they would like to ask Putin.

It is significant that the most popular issue among Russians was the question of ending the war with Ukraine. The main question that interests people quite seriously and goes beyond the limits of statistical error is when the so-called “SVO” and mobilization will end, and also when peace will come. This question was chosen by 21% of respondents. In second place, with a large lag, is the issue of increasing pensions and social benefits.

The survey showed that the war in Ukraine remains the main topic for Russians. Putin’s war has had a significant impact on life in the Russian Federation, and people want to know when it will end.

The survey results also indicate that Russians are dissatisfied with rising prices and declining living standards. The issue of increasing pensions and social programs became the third most popular.
