Bruno Fernandes has been a Manchester United player since January 2020, when he moved from Sporting Lisbon. Bruno Fernandes is still in touch with Zieliński. “I’d like to play with him again”
Bruno Fernandes in 2013-2017 was a player of Udinese Calcio, where he met with Piotr Zieliński. The Portuguese was on Wednesday the guest of the program “Her Majesty Premier League“at Canal + Sport, where he praised the Polish representative.
– Honestly? I can say that Zieliński is better technically trained than I am. We had a good competition. In the past, Zieliński was actually a bit shy. He was young then, just like me – said the footballer Manchesteru United. – However, we came from different countries with a different mentality. I had a really good relationship with Piotrek. He’s a great guy, I like him a lot. This is one of the people I met in Italy with whom I am in touch all the time – he added.
Fernandes also revealed that he even talked to Zieliński quite recently – I talked to him a few months ago and told him that I would like to play with him again. So who knows what the future awaits us? In my opinion, he is a really top player – concluded the Portuguese.
Piotr Zieliński is currently playing by far the best season in his career. The midfielder has played 46 games so far for the colors Naplesin which he scored 10 goals and 13 assists. On Monday, he also received a call-up from coach Paulo Sousa to the Polish national team on Euro 2020.
