Disney has released a new trailer for the Willow series, which begins November 30, 2022 and ties into the events of the late 1980s film of the same name. Of course, this means fans can’t wait to see familiar faces again.

After The House of the Dragon and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, this year a third great fantasy series should begin: obviously it is Willow, with which Disney would also like to make its contribution to the boom in this genre moment. . A new trailer that was released at the D23 Expo now suggests the series could have similar success. The clip shows many new songs from the fantasy adventure, for which actor Warwick Davis returns to play the role of wizard Willow Ufgood to save the world along with a new crew of companions. In addition to the hero of the title himself, Sorsha (also played by Joanne Whalley) is also returning, who will surely please some fans and should further increase the nostalgia factor of the series.
Newcomers include Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Tony Revolori, Ellie Bamber, Talisa Garcia, and Dempsey Bryk. Christian Slater will also have a role in the series, although the details are not yet clear.
Willow will launch on Disney + on November 30, 2022. The first season will have a total of eight episodes.
