Our reader Lyudmil Tsvetkov sent us a letter about the machine voting on July 11 and the dangers it poses. According to him, for the elections on April 4 this year. The certification of the SAES 3377 machines was illegal because they have an internet connection, which is contrary to the requirement of the CEC, reports tribune.bg.
He also brings to our attention some data and facts that suggest that the vote could be manipulated by these machines and that SAEC 3377 was created precisely for the purpose of rigging elections.
The letter was addressed to the Central Election Commission, the Public Council of the Central Election Commission, the State Agency for Electronic Government, the Bulgarian Institute of Metrology and the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization.
Here is what it says:
“I would like to draw your attention to an extremely unpleasant topic, both for me and for Bulgaria as a whole.
While trying to find out more about the company Smartmatic, which will organize the logistics of the vote for MPs on July 11, I came across a page describing the characteristics of the machine SAES 3377, the same with which the European Parliament elections were held in 2014 and 2019, and which will be voted on en masse in the upcoming vote.
The link to the description on the Smartmatic page was deleted, but with the help of the Internet archive I was able to restore it. It turns out that the machines model SAES 3377 of the company Smartmatic have an internet connection, which is their standard configuration. Please look carefully at the photo / snapshot below, downloaded from the archive:
It clearly and unequivocally states that “After the polls close, the SAES-3377 transmits the necessary data to the servers in the tallying centers.”, Or in other words “After the announcement of the end of election day, the SAES 3377 transmits the necessary data to the servers in the polling stations. “
That is, SAES machines, model 3377, just like ours, by definition have an Internet connection, which is their standard configuration. This is written on the company’s website, so there is no need to comment or question.
From this point of view, it is quite clear that for the elections on April 4 this year. The certification of the SAES 3377 machines was illegal, as the requirements to the machines formulated by the CEC were that they should NOT be connected to the Internet.
Only 2 machines were inspected by the State Agency for Electronic Government, but most likely the Internet modem was removed beforehand. That is why the Agency’s Report, published in April this year, explicitly states that no configuration for the motherboard is presented.
By presumption, most modern machines have modems for the Internet in their motherboards. Thus, the remaining nearly 10,000 machines in Bulgaria should have internet modems available, unless they are removed one by one. This is in direct conflict with the CEC’s requirement.
In connection with the above, please clarify this case. I hope that, since it is very clear that the infringing machines use an internet connection, their certification for the July 11 vote will not be approved, otherwise it will be a gross violation of the law.
In another letter to our editorial office, Lyudmil Tsvetkov also provided an affidavit from a Venezuelan military man close to dictator Chavez regarding the creation of Smartmatic with the special purpose of rigging elections.
According to him, Smartmatic machines are a danger for Bulgaria!
“If it weren’t for the US presidential election in November 2020, I wouldn’t believe it. But in a live broadcast, hundreds of thousands of votes mysteriously disappeared from Donald Trump’s column, and then went into the column with Joe Biden’s results to the last vote. Then it was repeated over and over again, in different places, all broadcast live.
This is impossible, as the votes cast are only incremental, ie they must increase. Data from different counties come with the same ratio, for example 75.23 percent for Biden versus 24.77 percent for Trump, and there is not a hundred percent discrepancy. 100 such consecutive receipts, with a completely identical percentage, from completely different districts, in a row.
For example, the vote from Sofia should be 30.21 percent for GERB, 15.88 percent for ITN and 14.53 percent for BSP. The same vote came from Pleven, Yambol, Stara Zagora, Varna and so on. Statistically completely impossible “, writes Lyudmil Tsvetkov.
“Specifically for our elections. It is very likely that they were falsified, at least in part and at least in some places. Indications of this are the numerous crashes, a sign of a collision of algorithms, as well as the delayed reaction of the touchscreens, a sign of potential collaboration of several programs, such as the machine for counting voices with incoming Internet traffic.
These machines are standardized, and the company has been processing machine voting for more than 20 years – they can’t just crash like that.
Again, I do not undertake in any way to claim that the elections in our country were necessarily manipulated, but what would you think, watching the recent elections in the United States and knowing the sad fame of Smartmatic around the world?
Their relationship with Venezuelan leaders, George Soros and Chinese banks? Some of the data on the vote in our country are quite illogical, such as the convincing victory of GERB in the villages and small towns and their loss in the big cities and Sofia. What is the reason for this, given the very different data from the local elections held a little over a year ago?
A total change in electoral attitudes, or perhaps just in Sofia and the big cities a much larger number of people vote with machines and therefore a much larger number of votes can be manipulated, transferred from one party to another? Again, I’m not speculating, I’m just listing different options, given the company’s notoriety. Who wouldn’t speculate?
Now, our system covers more than 30 parties and it is much harder to detect fraud than in the United States, where there are 2 main entities. Our sections are also smaller, 300 to 800 people, and the manipulations are harder to spot. What can be the manipulations? For example, every 5th or 10th vote of one party should be counted as a vote of another party. In percentage terms, this is not a small amount, given that usually 5-6% changed vote is enough to change the final result of the election. And they have special algorithms that have been developed for decades, “said Lyudmil Tsvetkov.
