“The Queen of Beauty” was written in 1996 and is the first play by Irish playwright Martin McDon, a British descendant. McDon is currently one of the brightest contemporary playwrights, having won numerous awards, and is the screenwriter and director of several Academy Award-winning films, such as Three Announcements at Ebing, Missouri, etc.
