A possible sale of Nissan’s share in Mitsubishi could change the appearance of the alliance. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing its sources. In 2016, Mitsubishi became a bite of Nissan’s long-standing alliance with the French carmaker Renault. At the time, Nissan paid about 237 billion yen (a dog of 50 billion K) for the share in Mitsubishi.

There is no day full to change the capital structure with Mitsubishi, however, a Reuters agent told Nissan. Mitsubishi spoke in the same way, adding that his company will continue to cooperate within the alliance.

The control of Mitsubishi’s control role was dramatic. At the start, Nissan was alerted to discrepancies in the consumption data of small Mitsubishi models, which were sold on the Japanese market under both signs. Pd weakened by carmaker t diamond in 2016 into the hands of a competitor was fast (tte vce).

The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance was in the hands of its initiator, and in 2018 its Carlos Ghosn. He was accused of several criminal offenses, including failure to declare all income and misuse of corporate pensions. Ghosn was to blame, he was released on bail in Japan and fled to his native Lebanon at the end of last year.

French Renault owns more than 43 percent in Nissan, Japan, while Nissan has about 15 percent in Renault, and Ghosn has in the past sought to fully merge the two companies.

This year, Nissan, like other members of the alliance, also met the carmaker with the negative effects of coronavirus. However, last week, the company cut its full-year operating loss estimate to 340 billion yen (72.5 billion K) from two estimated 470 billion yen. It thus responded to the boom in demand, especially in the German market.

Mitsubishi this year led to the exit from the European markets (more here).
