The Minister of Education and Culture, Esperanza Moreno, has presented in the Víctor Villegas auditorium the programming of ‘Noches a raso’, an initiative of the CREA Plan that will facilitate the celebration of shows in 35 municipalities of the Region during this summer. This project includes fifty music and performing arts events that will take place during the months of July, August and September. The first of them will take place this Thursday in Lorca with a concert by Fernando Rubio & The Inner Demons.
“This cultural promotion action aims to promote the activity of theater and music companies in the Region of Murcia and make it easier for citizens of any municipality to access cultural activities close to home”, highlighted the counselor.
The municipalities where shows will be held are Abanilla, Abarán, Alcantarilla, Aledo, Águilas, Alhama de Murcia, Archena, Blanca, Bullas, Calasparra, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena, Cehegín, Ceutí, Cieza, Fuente Álamo, Jumilla, Las Torres de Cotillas, Lorca, Lorquí, Los Alcázares, Mazarrón, Molina de Segura, Moratalla, Mula, Murcia, Pliego, Puerto Lumbreras, Ricote, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar, Santomera, Totana, Ulea and Yecla.
The Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA) takes charge of 75% of the cache and the municipalities 25%. In addition, the consistories will be in charge of facilitating the public space equipped for the performance, ensuring the technical requirements for the event and ensuring that the standards established by the health authorities for holding outdoor cultural shows are met. The initiative has a budget of 150,000 euros.
