Kubacki was leading after the first, as expected series competition in the capital of the Polish Tatra Mountains. The winner of the Summer Grand Prix series achieved 105.5 meters, which at the start from the 16th beam gave an advantage of 4.9 points over the second competitor. This unexpectedly was Stefan Hula, who got the same distance from the top run as Kubacki. The advantage would have been much greater had the 2019 world champion not ruined the landing.

It is worth noting that the wind was also confused in the competition. Piotr Żyła in worse condition than the two mentioned above, reached 99 meters and finished third. Even stronger wind in the back had Kamil Stoch, who only jumped 96.5 meters and was only seventh. He was losing 9.5 points to Kubacki. He was followed by Kacper Juroszek, Paweł Wąsek and Klemens Murañka.

In the final round, Kubacki outdid himself! The bronze medalist of the Beijing Olympics flew up to 108.5 meters and, setting a new summer hill record, won the title of Polish summer champion. Piotr Żyła, who also did very well in the second attempt jump at 99.5 meters he moved into second position. The bronze disc was won by Stefan Hula, who turned out to be the biggest surprise of this competition. In the final he landed at the 102nd meter.

Close to the medal was Kacper Juroszek, who lost 2.9 points to Stefan Hula. This placed the fourth position. Kamil Stoch did not improve, this time he only reached 95 meters and failed to reach the top three. In the end, the three-time Olympic champion finished in 7th place. Still ahead of him are Paweł Wąsek and Jan Habdas.

The women’s competition also took place without any surprises. Our best ski jumper, Nicole Konderla, won the title. The 20-year-old competitor from the first series was the only one to cross the border 90 meters and was definitely in the lead (90.5 m). In the final she flew even further, because she scored 102 meters and won with confidence. She is also a female record for the Zakopane facility. Second place went to the Slovak Tamara Mesikova and the bronze was won by Natalia Słowik.
