Common side effects of drugs that can occur in cancer patients include nausea, dizziness, chapped lips and fatigue. For this reason, patients are advised to understand the treatment that is being carried out, along with the side effects that can / may occur and also make changes in lifestyle and appropriate diet to minimize side effects of treatment, if possible.

Dr. Eko Adhi Pangarsa, SpPD, KHOM – Chairman of YKI Cab. Central Java explained, side effects can occur during the treatment period. Ranging from light to heavy.

We recommend that patients and their families consult their doctor for information regarding side effects that may or may occur during treatment. The patient, family or patient caregiver can ask for information on how to manage side effects, if possible.

“Patients, families or patient nurses are also asked to immediately report to the doctor if side effects occur that require immediate treatment,” he concluded.
