The 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film
Twenty years ago the first opus of the Harry Potter saga came out. The first film “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” directed by Chris Columbus starred Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Robbie Coltrane and Richard Harris. The 152-minute long feature film cost $ 125 million and grossed $ 974 million worldwide. A phenomenal success, like the books of the author JK Rowling who became a billionaire thanks to the young wizard.
To celebrate these 20 years, the Hogwarts Express entered Saint-Lazare station this morning. He will stay there until tomorrow evening, August 29, to welcome fans of the character, young and old. Many activities await visitors, whether in Paris or in the 31 stations where the famous train will stop.
