The Historic Return of the 3 Days Cycling from Grenoble: Featuring Mathilde Gros and World-Class Cyclists

While the last edition took place 9 years ago, in 2014, the 3 days cycling from Grenoble will make their big return from October 26 to 28, 2023! This historic event was created in 1971 by George Cazeneuve and high-sounding names like Eddy Merckx, Bernard Thévenet, Francesco Moser or Laurent Fignon participated in it. More recently, we can note the presence of runners like Michael Morkov (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl), Iljo Keisse (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) ou Albert Torres (Movistar Team), who were still in the professional peloton in 2022. The 6 days, which became 4 days then 3 days, were a real spectacle where artists and athletes rubbed shoulders at the Palais des sports. After nine years of absence, the Isère track is preparing to once again live to the rhythm of cycling races during three festive evenings. With a gala headliner: the individual speed world champion Mathilde Gros.. “Participating in the rebirth of this event fills me with joy and pride, entrusts Mathilde Gros. This is an unprecedented opportunity to promote our discipline and share our passion with the French public, at the dawn of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Rayan Helal, my colleague from the France pole, spoke to me about it with stars in the eyes. He remembers, while still a young runner, seeing big names like Grégory Baugé. For him, it was an incredible moment to rub shoulders with such champions.” The countdown begins !
