The Highest Corona Case, East Java Forms a New Joint Team, What’s the Job?

SURABAYA, KOMPAS.TV – Province East Java being the region with the highest positive Covid-19 case in Indonesia. Until Sunday (06/28/2020), a case of the virus corona of East Java reached 11,178 patients.

Governor East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa provide an action plan or strategic step that is now being prepared to reduce the spread rate corona especially in Surabaya Raya.

Among them is forming a joint team of various regional task force teams to improve coordination of synergy with each other.

Previously there was a task force for handling Covid-19 East Java which houses 38 districts / cities.

This joint team will coordinate with the Commander of the Joint Regional Defense Command (Pangkogabwilhan II) in accordance with President Jokowi’s instructions when he visited Surabaya on Thursday (06/25/2020).

President Jokowi gave a special task, one of which was hospital relaxation, namely the classification of patients with both mild and severe symptoms so as not to mix. Because this is feared to be a massive spread in East Java.

Besides that Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa took 8 epidemiologists to then determine a pattern to suppress the growth rate of Covid-19 in East Java.
