“It is a very serious pneumonia, so it is a massive strain for all health systems, because we see 50 to 60 patients who come to our emergency department with pneumonia every day, and most of them are so severe that they need very high volumes of oxygen, ”explained the hospital’s emergency care chief, Dr. Roberto Cosentini.

“And then we had to reorganize our emergency room and our hospital: three levels of intensive care,” he added.
