Den Haag – Coach Alan Pardew (58) will leave Dutch first division club ADO Den Haag after only four months.
The club announced on Tuesday. The Englishman’s contract originally ran until the end of the season, which was prematurely canceled last Friday due to the corona crisis.
Pardew had only been on board since December
Pardew, formerly team manager of the English clubs Newcastle United, West Ham United and Crystal Palace, started the job in The Hague in December and should save the team from relegation.
However, the team won only one of eight games under Pardew. The end of the season finally saved The Hague from the likely move into the second division.
