The subdelegate of the government in the province of A Coruña, Pilar López Riobóo, has asked that the confrontation be abandoned in this electoral campaign to the reports of attacks on affiliates and supporters of the far-right organization Vox in coincidence with acts of his party. In the complaint to the National Police, the young man explains that a person approached him in the surroundings of the Eusebio da Guarda Institute, in the Plaza de Pontevedra and hit him in the face after saying “whore Spain. You’ll be happy, you fucking fascist” .
The leader of the Santiago Abascal formation has announced in Vigo that he will denounce the Government Delegate, Javier Losada, for tolerating attacks and threats to its affiliates. López Riobóo points out that all the parties are suffering the effects of the confrontation, although later he calls for all political forces to be able to say what they think and what their programs are: “I don’t think there has been any aggression beyond some protest or some action by some group contrary to VOX’s thesis, I think that all parties have suffered the same confrontations with other groups, but we should call for responsibility so that all political formations can say what they want and stop confrontations for discussions. “
Vox assures that the attacker of the young man in the Plaza de Pontevedra was one of the participants in an act of self-styled anti-fascist groups. The medical report provided by Vox details that the victim suffered a “frontal contusion” and a “superficial wound on the lip.”
