Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral takes place today in London. She died on 8 September at the age of 96, having been on the longest throne in British history – more than 70 years. The funeral is broadcast live on public television channels from the British Commonwealth countries:
On Monday morning, access to the Palace of Westminster was cut off for those wishing to greet the deceased monarch.
