The four parties united to save the health system

COVID-19. With a record high of 2,183 new cases, it is united that the heads of the four political parties present in the National Assembly presented themselves at a press conference. In one voice, François Legault, Dominique Anglade, Manon Massé and Paul St-Pierre Plamondon asked Quebeckers to respect the instructions to save the health system.

“We are making a holiday truce… We are leading the battle together… We must respect the instructions. Now is not the time to go to parties… This is not the time to find something to avoid getting caught… Even if it is allowed, it is not the time to go to the South, ”implores the Prime Minister, who invites Quebeckers to show solidarity with the health network. “Helping them means following the instructions,” adds François Legault, noting that more than 7,000 health workers are currently absent from work.

“Beyond our differences … today we are united … We are able to work together … We must stick together … Call the people who are alone”, asks the leader of the Liberal Party Dominique Anglade, describing the situation ” alarming ”.

For her part, Manon Massé, spokesperson for Québec solidaire, had kind words for the employees of the health network. “It is out of solidarity that I am here … For people who put their lives in danger … who hold the health system at arm’s length … Everyone must do their bit”, she emphasizes.

“We are in the home stretch … When we make efforts, we give oxygen to our health system”, expresses Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, leader of the Parti Québécois, for whom monitoring health measures is a matter of respect.
