The first look of Mammootty’s ‘Kannur Squad’ has been released. The poster suggests that Mammootty is playing a different police character. The shooting of the film directed by Robbie Varghese Raj is progressing.
The shooting of the film started on 15th of this month. He is producing the film under the banner of Mammootty’s company. The story belongs to Muhammad Shafi. The film is written by Mohammad Shafi and actor Ronnie David Raj. This film is being prepared as an investigation thriller.
Kannur Squad is the 4th film produced by Mammootty’s company after Roshak, Nanpakal Nereth Mayakkum and Kathal. The main locations of the movie were Kannur, Kasaragod, Wayanad, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Pala, Pune, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, Mangaluru, Belgaum and Coimbatore.
