The first LNK project “Mask” was unveiled: under Pantera’s costume – a well-known TV presenter

At the end of the show, the six commissioners who became detectives had to decide which hidden personality would be revealed, the press release said. Unfortunately, the project, which had just begun, ended with Panther. The biggest surprise of the evening was that under this mask hid one of the brightest and most popular hosts of LNK TV shows, the star of the show “Kissing, Ruth” Rūta Mikelkevičiūtė.

“The biggest challenge for me was how I, weighing just 50 kilograms, would keep the heavy Panther’s head on my shoulders,” the famous woman shared her impressions.

Rūta admits that after receiving a call from the project producers to hide under a mask and sing, she was in no hurry to make a decision.

“The pandemic helped make the decision. I’m a frog traveler, and for so long we couldn’t go anywhere, we were locked between four walls. So I thought life without adventures is just boring. Do you know how to make a cake without raisins, what is it like? It’s just a bun, that, for three kopecks. I will be open – I went here looking at the benefits for myself. I thought I just wanted to have fun and have a good time, ”Rūta smiles.

Of course, the host of LNK shows, as always, does not wrap words in cotton wool and says that the biggest challenge for her, however, became not to sing, but to make friends with a mask.

“Imagine, I see a Panther mask. This mask does not fit catastrophically with my image. I don’t wear any tiger clothes in my life. True, I have such a workout, but I also bought it in a hurry when I just had to get out of the situation. But then I thought – when will I be able to be a panther or play a martyr in my life? Never probably! ”- the woman remembers the first impression of the costume.

“Not only that, the tiger costume is nothing compared to what I had to overcome to put on Pantera’s head. I have claustrophobia and I may have a panic attack. And know what I was afraid of, that’s what happened. Just before I went on stage, it got scary for me. I realized I might not get on stage. But the creative team reassured me. We agreed on what sign I would have to show to stop filming. After all, you realize when a panic attack starts you don’t care about any secrets, people around you, you just want to get out of that situation. I am very glad that it was not necessary and I somehow tamed that Panther “, – smiles Rūta Mikelkevičiūtė.

Ruth does not hide and says do not be sad that this project had to be left first. It’s no secret that the agenda of a famous woman is very busy. Therefore, further participation would have required her to sacrifice time with her family.

“I am glad to be on this adventure. I like to sing, even though I don’t have that gift. True, I graduated from music school, but I never trained my voice. I can say so much that there is a game here and you need to have fun and have fun in it. Because in this project you can forget everything and maybe become something you would never dare in real life, ”the woman shares good emotions.
