The “Saudi Specifications” indicated that most car engine manufacturers conduct different performance tests on different types and classes of oils and recommend changing mineral oils after a distance of 3000 – 5000 km or a period of 3 months, whichever comes first; Synthetic oils recommend changing them after you’ve driven 10,000-12,000km, or 6 months, whichever comes first.
