Number 1

The number 1 stands for unity. As stated in John 10:30, God and Jesus are one. This number also indicates that there is only one God. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).

Number 2

This number conveys the meaning of a union, a division, or the verification of facts by witnesses, as written in Exodus 25:22, Matthew 26:60, Luke 10:1, and Ephesians 5:31. Furthermore, in Galatians 6:8 it symbolizes the dual nature of man.

The number 8 represents the renewal and true “rebirth” of man when he is raised from the dead to eternal life. God saved eight people from the flood, and Jesus Christ appeared eight times after his resurrection.

This is the age of mental and physical maturity. The number 30 symbolizes dedication to a calling. The Aaronic priests committed themselves to serving God when they turned 30 years old.
