The expert hacked Trump on Twitter. He guessed the password without any problems

Gevers was surprised that something like this had happened. He first entered the wrong password four times. “I expected the account to be suspended. Or that it will want some additional information from me, “Gevers described the situation to the Dutch daily De Volkskrant.

But nothing like that happened, so he tried another, fifth attempt – “maga2020!”. When he found out that he suddenly had control over the main means of communication of the most powerful man in the world, he panicked.

The red caps with the words Make America Great Again are a symbol of President Trump’s election campaigns.

MAGA stands for “Make America Great Again,” which millions of fans wear on T-shirts, caps, and other Trump election items.

Gevers allegedly had access to Trump’s personal messages and could therefore arbitrarily add contributions under the identity of the American president.

Twitter denied the whole event. “We have not found any evidence to suggest such a claim,” a company spokesman said. According to him, the technology giant gives special security measures to all similarly important personalities.

It is not for the first time

He told reporters from De Volkskrant Gevers that it was likely that the White House chief would not use multi-phase authentication to sign in.

He therefore tried to warn the president’s team, family, the CIA, the FBI and Twitter itself that Trump’s account was not secure. “No answer,” the Dutch daily writes.

The day after, however, Gevers noticed that someone had activated two-phase verification. In the next two days, they contacted him directly from the secret service and thanked him for pointing the problem.

Remarkably, Gevers did a similar piece four years ago. At the time, the motto was “yourefired”, which was Trump’s message on the reality show The Apprentice.
