The National Assembly Its first legislative recess begins from this March 26 until the following April 9.
These vacations last fifteen days, as stipulated by the Organic Law of the Legislative Function and the Constitution.
The Legislature has, by law, two mandatory recesses a year. The second vacation period has not yet been defined.
During this period, the Plenary Session and the specialized Commissions do not meet.
Likewise, the deadlines and terms of the ordinary procedures for the approval of laws and substantiation of requests for political trials, processing of amnesties, pardons, amendments and reforms to the Constitution and other procedures are suspended.
