The EPHJ show falls apart

The EPHJ watch subcontractors show is forced to cancel its 2020 edition, which was scheduled for September 15 to 18 in Geneva. The decision follows Wednesday’s announcement by the Federal Council to extend the ban on demonstrations of more than 1,000 people until at least October 1. The organizers of the event dedicated to subcontractors in the watchmaking, microtechnology and medical sectors indicated this Thursday afternoon. The next edition is scheduled for June 8 to 11, 2021, the press release said. Exhibitors will have the option of having their registration fees refunded or defer the amount to next year. The EPHJ was initially scheduled to be held in June 2020 but had been postponed to September due to the coronavirus. In 2019, the show welcomed some 850 exhibitors and 20,000 trade visitors. / ATS-alr
