The long-awaited film “Encanto”, production number 60 by Walt Disney Animation Studios, opens this Thursday, November 25 in Latin America. This production is directed by Jared Bush, the co-director of Zootopia, and by Bryon Howard, director of the same film.

The animation reflects the daily life of a Colombian family, known as the Madrigal- with special gifts-, in a magical house, located in a place in the middle of the mountains, known with the same name from the film.
The film has allowed emblematic places of the country such as Quindío, to use this production to promote tourism in their region, when finding similarity between Salento and the place where the house of the Madrigal family is located, located in the middle of a cloud forest.
On the other hand, in Vélez, Santander, its inhabitants have been wearing their typical costumes, alluding to the clothing of the protagonist of the film, Mirabel, who wears the representative clothing of the region.
Regarding trade, Companies have made alliances with the company to launch a special line of products alluding to the film.

The firm clarified that its products are a reinterpretation of the elements of the film, inspired by Colombian culture. Its new line includes leather jackets with special embroidery, garments, backpacks, boots, belts and accessories. Each of these items with a representative design.
For its part, Claro, in its Attention and Sales Center, in Plaza Claro, set up a stage, from November 10, in which the public can access a house inspired by the Madrigal family, with walks among yellow butterflies. . In addition, citizens can enjoy color adjustments and recreations of characters to take pictures.
Likewise, the telecommunications company made this same opportunity possible in some stores in Medellín, Cali and Barranquilla.

With the musical hallmark of Walt Disney Records worthy productions, Encanto also has its own soundtrack, composed by Tony® and Grammy® award winner Lin Manuel Marulanda, who has also been in charge of the music and orchestral arrangements of “ Dora and the lost city ”.
The main song, “Colombia, Mi Encanto” was performed by Carlos Vives. On the other hand, Sebastián Yatra is the one who sings “Dos Oruguitas”, also in its English version.
The film’s original soundtrack in Spanish includes eight songs, incidental music, instrumental and credit versions. The musical creation was commissioned by Germaine Franco, an award-winning composer, who worked with Lin Manuel Miranda, to nurture the audiovisual production of Colombian rhythms.
