A follower of Valdmane asked how many times she had to jump in order to pass the exam, to which Valdmane replied that the minimum is eight, but she herself passed the exam with the tenth time.

After that, Valdmane showed that in her first jump without an instructor, she sat in a ditch, in algae, scratching her cheek thoroughly. “The first solo leap to honor has been completed!” she laughed.
