The EAES, to be held online, assesses four areas of knowledge: Math, Tongue Y Literature, natural Sciences Y social Sciences. The contents are those that appear in the educational curriculum of secondary education.
To prioritize the content of the exam, the Secretary of Higher Education (Senescyt) reported that it worked with 30 universities and polytechnic schools in the country (26 public and four private). Also with about 60 teachers experts in each of the areas of knowledge.
The application note, which allows participation for a quota within the National Leveling and Admission System, is made up of the academic backgrounds of the student, that is, the grade mark (40%) and the grade obtained in the EAES (60%).
Besides, the Senescyt recalled that they guarantee affirmative action measures, through Extra points, for vulnerable people: in situation of poverty, who come from tax colleges located in rural areas, citizens belonging to towns and nationalities and people with disabilities, among others.
The topics contained in the exam, said the Secretary, are those that are taught in the school. He also warned that exams they are generated minutes before the shot, through the computer system.
Therefore it is requested report any type of inappropriate conduct or attempted fraud through the official channels of Senescyt or before the competent judicial authorities. For this period, 279 771 people are registered to take the test. The entity said that the date of application of the same will be reported in the coming days.
