New details appear in the case of the double murder in Iasi. The parties involved in the murder of the two young men in the house on the Windmill at the beginning of December last year are preparing for the next confrontation.

Prosecutors and criminals are currently awaiting results from Bucharest to see if the traces of several items of clothing and footwear worn by the main suspect Ahmed Sami el-Bourkadi belong to the young people killed. The weapon of the crime is still missing.

At a hearing a week ago, Ahmed Sami el-Bourkadi justified the shoe marks found at the crime scene. Those with whom he went to Italy are similar to the traces found in the house of horror, the building on the Windmill where Youssef Ajniyah and his friend Vanesa Burlacu were killed.

“He was taken to the Prosecutor’s Office to take the shoes he took with him to Italy, as they are the Pull & Bear brand. He says that he did not use these shoes at the crime scene, that he did not go with them, it is simply a coincidence. Two types of marks were found at the scene, only these Pull & Bear shoes were mentioned. It is a very common brand of shoes, it does not mean that the shoes worn by the defendant were necessarily those with which he later went to the crime scene. Of course, the shoes will be restrained. If there are traces on them, they will be found, the DNA profile will be established and so on “, said the lawyer Raluca Andrei, according to Ziarului de Iaşi. –

Appearance change

The young Moroccan, the main suspect in this case, also justified in front of the prosecutors the change of appearance: the surveillance cameras from Iasi airport caught him with a long beard, and in Italy he shaved.

“It simply came to our notice then. He wanted to prepare for the trip since he was in Romania, he tried to make an appointment at a salon, but due to the courses, the program at the faculty, he did not have time to do so “, says the lawyer .

Shocking discovery was made by the police, who were informed by the boy’s family about his possible disappearance. –
