The Egyptian team will meet its Tunisian counterpart in the final of the African Nations Handball Cup, hosted by Tunisia, at seven (Cairo time) Sunday evening at the Palais des Sports de Rades.
The Egyptian team qualified at the expense of its Algerian brother, winning 30 -27, while Tunisia crushed Angola 23-23.
This tournament gives its champion a direct qualification card to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, in addition to two indirect cards for the Olympic qualifying tournaments.
The Pharaohs team had guaranteed participation in the 2021 World Cup due to the organization of the tournament in Egypt in addition to 6 teams that qualified for the World Cup, headed by Tunisia, Angola and Algeria.
