The Czech film Mouse Belongs to Heaven is nominated for the European Film Award

“We are very happy that our film has met with a lot of positive reactions since its premiere in Annecy. It is a great reward not only for us, but also for all those who worked on the film and believed in it for a long time. We are very pleased that we have probably managed to pass on this common energy to the audience, that it brings them joy. It fills us with a hopeful feeling that all that joint work had a deeper meaning, “said the directorial duo.

“The nomination for the European Academy Award is a significant success for us and we believe that it will help the film reach even more viewers around the world,” added producer Vladimír Lhoták.
