Tanah Abang Market, Central Jakarta is full of visitors shopping for Eid needs. Visitors are even willing hustling regardless of the rules of maintaining distance during the Covid-19 pandemic that has not yet ended.

Even though they wear masks, visitors do not keep their distance from each other. The movement of visitors who shop at outlets is like a traffic jam.

This crowd of visitors took place in Block A and Block B of the Tanah Abang Wholesale Center, Saturday, May 1, 2021 yesterday. A children’s clothing trader in Blok A named Koyah (42) said crowd of visitors yesterday was unusual.

The COVID-19 Task Force

Wiku appealed to managers to maintain visitor capacity so as not to cause it cluster Covid-19 new. Managers are also asked to create a culture of queuing and implement health protocols at Tanah Abang Market.

“Maintain the capacity of visitors and provide places for washing hands. Cultivate lines so that you can keep your distance. Disinfect the area in the market regularly. Let us protect public health,” he continued.

On the next page, the Deputy Mayor of Central Jakarta, Irwandi, admitted that he had reminded the management.
