The couple of the “Love Camp” show broke up with the big age difference

Businessman Oskars Bērziņš, the father of three children, and 18-year-old Anna, who studies in the 12th grade of Riga State 1st Gymnasium and is the granddaughter of the legendary fashion artist Asnate Smelteres, applied to the show because Oskars wanted to try something new. “I hadn’t acted in the show before – why not?” so Oscar.

Oscar admitted he was divorced and at the point of “restarting his life” and described being on the show as an opportunity to get to know each other “in an unusual environment where there will be trials”.

Other participants, seeing the newcomers, said: “Daughter with father!”, “That’s a perfect child!”, “She could be a granddaughter!”, “I don’t see a chance that I can hang out with my daughter’s friends”, “At least finish school and think if you need it!”

The magazine writes that both of them did not stay too long in the show.

Oskar reveals to “Kas Jauns” magazine: “When we went to the show, we didn’t know its concept and name. We thought it was a show where couples get to know each other and either have a relationship or not. When we arrived, we realized that there are couples who have been together for decades and are solving their problems. We didn’t fit that format at all because we didn’t live together before the show, we were just friends.

It was interesting for me together with Anna, because she had studied and lived in London, she had her own point of view on things and music, while my life experience appealed to her.”

It’s true, however, that the romance between the two has ended just as quickly as it started. Now both remain only in the status of acquaintances and sometimes on lists.
