The president of the Andalusian Government, Juanma Moreno, announced this Tuesday that the Advisory Council on High Impact Public Health Alerts (Committee of Experts) will meet next Wednesday, March 3 to address the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic and the measures to be adopted, that is, if those currently in force are maintained or changes are introduced. The current measures in force are extended until the day 4 of that month.

Moreno has made this announcement in his appearance before the media at the press conference after the Governing Council meeting, which was held on this occasion in the Ronda Town Hall (Málaga).

The meeting of the expert committee It will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, the same day that there is a meeting of the Interterritorial Health Council, in which the autonomous communities participate.

Holding the meeting on March 3 will mean, as indicated by the chairman, extending until the day 4 of that month the current measures in force in the community to stop the pandemic and whose validity was until the end of this week.

Moreno has stated that this decision is advised by the expert committee itself, which has considered “reasonable and sensible” to have one more week to calmly and calmly evaluate the evolution of the pandemic and the possible measures to be adopted.
