He coronavirus is already present in Rosario and 105 other towns in the province. The 2,762 cases registered since the first was known in this city on March 14 until the report this Thursday are in 17 of the 19 departments that make up Santa Fe. The Rosario population was at the top with 1,196 cases, which was practically half of the provincial total. Of course, the more than 323 cases in Casilda and the 121 in Venado Tuerto as towns with more than a hundred infected are also surprising and worrying. The other side: the departments 9 de Julio and San Martín, without cases of Covid-19.
In addition to Rosario, which is the head of the department that bears his name, the cases are distributed in 14 locations, with the surprising record of Zavalla with 56 infections and the 31 of Funes on the “podium”, out of a total of 1,435 patients.
The Caseros department continues in the number of positives (402) due to the force of the pandemic in the city of Casilda, which exceeds 303 patients, but also San José de la Esquina, Los Molinos and Arteaga.
In General López (with a total of 301) the virus is still in force.
In the San Lorenzo department, the total of 176 cases are distributed mainly in the industrial cordon, with 66 from San Lorenzo, 29 from Capitán Bermúdez, 15 from Fray Luis Beltrán and 3 from Puerto San Martín.
After a long period of time without Covid-19 returning, the city of Santa Fe began to add last week and reached 100 infections, which seem few compared to the 54 with which Monte Vera surprised. The departmental total marks 181.

And the Constitution department with 79 was still among the highest records.
While the remaining Santa Fe towns that are most concerned about the number of infections are Helvecia with 33 (Garay department has 42), Villa Ocampo with 17 (General Obligado department adds 25); while Ceres with 22 (they are all from the San Cristóbal department) and Rafaela with 21 (Castellanos department, which has 23) stayed in those figures suffered at the beginning of the pandemic.
