The corona symptoms fully vaccinated should watch out for

ZOE Covid Symptoms Study is a British study in which 1.1 million Britons have registered their corona symptoms in one app.

Here it appears that two of the most common symptoms for vaccinated people who are corona infected are sneezing and runny nose. Headaches are also among the five most common symptoms.

It was VG who first mentioned the case.

The study shows that symptoms such as cough, loss of taste and smell, and difficulty breathing are less common among fully vaccinated.

Fully vaccinated people who suddenly start sneezing without allergies or the like being involved, are encouraged to get tested.

The leader of the ZOE study, the British professor Tim Spector from King’s College London, announces that fully vaccinated people are also better protected against the delta variant, but it’s not very much protection.

– Even if you want to have a milder course of the disease, you should not think that you are safe just because you have been vaccinated, says Spector.

Here is FHI’s list of the most common covid-19 symptoms.

NIPH: – Then you should test yourself

FHI doctor Helena Niemi Eide tells VG that it is not surprising that vaccinated infected people can get a runny nose and start sneezing, as vaccinated people get milder symptoms if they become infected.

She says that most fully vaccinated people in Norway who have been infected do not experience symptoms at all.

– If they become infected, they rarely get sick. They may get a slightly sore throat, runny nose or headache.

Eide thinks it is difficult to decide how many sneezes it takes before vaccinated people should think about getting tested.

– If you do not have a sore throat, but only a runny nose and sneezing and are not allergic, then you should test yourself, she says.

Mild symptoms may be covid

At the time of writing, 36 percent of those over the age of 18 are fully vaccinated in Norway, according to FHIs vaccination statistics. 59 percent should have received the first dose.

Eide thinks the findings in the British study are interesting, and believes this supports that one should have a low threshold for testing.

– Even mild symptoms can be covid, she says.
