The city council incorporates five more taxi licenses in Motril (Granada)

Motril will incorporate five more taxi licenses to meet the minimum requirement of 5% of adapted vehicle licenses required by taxi regulations.

This has been approved by the Municipal Plenary, as it appeared on the agenda.

Motril now has 37 taxi licenses.

However, of the five new ones that will be incorporated, only one is for an adapted vehicle.

This municipal agreement has not gone down well with the group of taxi drivers because they understand “that it has been carried out without counting on the union, which they see as a measure that should have been in dialogue with the sector.”

Motril taxi drivers have been demanding the conditioning of the taxi rank located at Hospital Santa Ana and the change of the existing stop at the bus station.
