The Church Altar which is a place for having sex is cleaned with holy water

BREE, KOMPAS.com – A church from Belgium have to clean the altar with Holy water, after being set as location have sex by lovebirds.

The couple filmed their indecent act on church Sint-Michielskerk, located in the City of Bree, Limburg Province.

In the circulating video, the couple had sex in the back altar church with the man holding his partner by the waist.

It is not clear when the video was recorded. However, the footage appeared on WhatsApp before spreading on social media.

Reported The Sun Monday (11/8/2021), church staff who felt disgusted immediately cleaned the altar with holy water.

Belgian Daily The newspapaer reported, the police investigated the case as pornography in a public place and spread indecent images.

“Police announce that they have registered two cases,” said Bree mayor Liesbeth Van der Auwera.

While the spokesman for the Church of Sint-Michielskerk Ernest Essers said, the lovebirds’ action had crossed the line of decency, respect and justice.

Essers revealed he received the lewd video on October 29 via WhatsApp, calling it a public insult.

“We obviously want to deal with it calmly, but we’ll also keep you posted on developments,” Essers said.
