Former Vice President of Afghanistan Amrula Saleh, who has been elected caretaker President, has left the northern province of Panjshir, north of Kabul, which refuses to recognize power of the Taliban and went to Tajikistan. This was announced by a source in TASS, citing a source.

Earlier Saleh posted on his Twitter account a call to the international community to pay attention to the activities of the Taliban in Panjshir. He accused the Taliban of depriving people of access to medical and humanitarian aid. After unsuccessful talks between the Taliban and the National Resistance Front, Taliban fighters launched an offensive against Panjir earlier this week.
