In the overtime of the 22nd round of the first league, the football players of Slovácko lost to the Pardubice rookie on his field in Prague’s Ďolíček 1: 3. The guests took the lead thanks to Jan Kliment, but in the 33rd to 37th minute the home team turned the score thanks to Ewerton and Stanislav Hofmann’s own goal. After the break, Dominik Kostka determined the final result with the first goal in the highest competition.
The team from Uherské Hradiště lost after four rounds and did not use the opportunity to jump to the second place of the incomplete table in front of Prague’s Sparta, which it will play on Sunday, at least until Wednesday. He has only a one-point lead over the fourth Jablonec, the North Bohemians played one less match. Pardubice corrected Friday’s loss to the Bohemians in 1905, defeated Slovácko for the second time in the league season and moved to seventh position.
The match was not played in the original March term due to the coronavirus in the Slovácko team. The guests prevailed from the first serious action in the ninth minute. Petržela pushed the ball between the home defense at Kliment, who aimed exactly at the front post and confirmed the position of the best team scorer with the tenth goal in the league season. He netted nine of them outside. The situation smelled offside from repeated shots, but the goal was valid.
The home team equalized in the 33rd minute, when Ewerton twisted the ball from a distance from a direct kick and overcame Nemrava with a rebound from the bar.
In less than four minutes, Pardubice completed a reversal. Ewerton found Čelůstka approaching between two opponents, Pardubice bek passed in front of the goal and Hofmann unhappily knocked the ball into his own net.
At the end of the half, the Pardubice goalkeeper Letáček first dealt with Kliment’s shot and then Kubal’s attempt from close range. From a difficult position, he aimed off Kalabiška outside the three poles.
After a change of side in the 52nd minute, Pardubice increased the lead. Nemrava diverted Ewerton’s pass in front of Černý’s goal only to Kostek, who put the goalkeeper between his legs. The 24-year-old midfielder experienced his first league hit in the thirteenth match.
After that, the visiting defender Divíšek almost scored his own goal during a vigorous kick. In the 74th minute, Ewerton fired next to him. In the setting, neither the home team nor the alternating Sláma and Hlavatý added a fourth goal.
Slovácko did not create significant pressure and lost outside in the league for the first time since December and after seven duels. Pardubice in the asylum in Ďolíčko scored in 11 out of 13 matches and this year they gained 25 out of a total of 38 points.
