I’m lying in my bed bleeding My mom always says I shouldn’t talk so openly, about sex or my menstruation. In fact, and especially women, do not talk about it often or openly. About the fact that women bleed – although (almost) every one of us does it monthly.
I haven’t had a regular cycle for a long time. There was too much pain and, above all, fear in my lap space, as I saw and felt it clearly in an aya trip. Since my pregnancy I have been connected to my lap and bleed regularly.
This time is a nuisance for many. For man and woman. Annoying and painful. For me, this time of the month is also magical. I feel more connected with life, with nature, I get deep insights into the mystery of life, clearer messages, vivid images.
I dreamed a lot that night. After an escape from or in America I stood in a forest that was completely cleared. The pain of the earth was felt in my body. I could hardly move from the abdomen to the legs.
In the morning meditation I saw similar images. Burned earth.
But I also saw this picture: women who danced on this scorched earth, free and wild. And how they bled and gave their blood to the earth. Every woman who is connected with her womanhood, one with her cycle – every woman who heals herself, heals the world. The woman’s blood is connected with the blood of the earth.
In the early days, women actually menstruated together. And have sacrificed our blood to the earth, given it, healed it and us and everything that lives. Nothing is ever separated.
So today I canceled everything – except for the yoga class in the evening. Stay in my bed And go to the forest later. To bleed.
