The Bereaved Family Criticizes Police and School for Clouding Judgment in Teacher’s Death at Seoi Elementary School in Seoul

The bereaved family of a teacher who died at Seoi Elementary School in Seocho-gu, Seoul criticized the police for clouding the judgment of the bereaved family by arguing for a personal identity issue.

Through a statement, the bereaved family of the deceased teacher said, “The reality is being revealed why the new teacher had to make extreme choices at school.” It is still questionable whether it was spilled.”

The bereaved family added, “(The police) even clouded the judgment of the bereaved family by treating them as personal personal issues.”

The bereaved family also pointed out about the school side, “The school wonders why it omitted the ‘pencil incident’ on the 12th, which can be said to be a key event in the statement on the 20th.”

The bereaved family claimed, “As revealed in the data from the Office of Education, the deceased suffered indescribable stress and pain after the pencil incident, intensively suffering from phone calls and malicious complaints from related parents.”

People’s Power According to the data received from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education by Congressman Chung Kyung-hee’s office, it was found that the deceased teacher complained of distress while requesting counseling from the school twice in relation to the pencil case.

The teacher was found dead on the 18th, six days after the ‘pencil incident’ in which a student drew another student’s forehead with a pencil.

The bereaved family insisted that “the police manipulated the nature of the case, and the school concealed the core contents of the case,” adding, “The relevant authorities should conduct a thorough investigation and hold the responsible person accountable.”
