Healthy. Currently, many people are starting to choose to live a healthy lifestyle. One of the healthy lifestyle is often done is to maintain a diet. Being a vegetarian is sometimes a choice to maintain a healthy life.

Vegetarianism is a healthy lifestyle that is carried out by adopting a healthy diet without consuming food of animal origin. So far, people’s dependence on food consumption from beef, mutton, pork, poultry, and seafood, such as fish and shellfish is very high.

Someone who is consistent in implementing this lifestyle is usually done by consuming foods derived from plants, such as wheat, nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruit, and mushrooms.

A lifestyle that continues to fight for health to balance the condition of the body with various desires for a variety of excessive culinary delights to avoid attacks from various diseases such as cancer, cholesterol, or heart disease.

Become a Vegetarian

However, this healthy vegetarian lifestyle is not widely known by the public. Out of 275 million Indonesians, it is estimated that only 2 million actively live a vegetarian lifestyle or less than 1 percent. There are many assumptions that arise in society that this lifestyle is unknown because of ignorance, limited variety of food, and the vegan lifestyle is not yet known.

Being consistent with a lifestyle like this does require commitment. Without commitment, there will definitely be various temptations and you will always return to your normal lifestyle. Moreover, the variety of food is very limited.

Becoming a vegetarian is not only for maintaining weight, but also for maintaining heart health, improving digestive health, maintaining weight, maintaining mental health and maintaining psychological health. Therefore, living with this lifestyle will always bring maximum health impact.

Even though vegetarianism can have an impact on one’s health, this lifestyle is sometimes hampered by various problems, for example, food choices are very low, protein needs cannot be met, protein needs are sometimes not met. Due to the limited types of food, this lifestyle is sometimes boring to do.
