Sony revealed this week the technology and some of the features that the new DualSense de PlayStation 5but battery life had never been discussed. Until now.
Fortunately for all users, thanks to a leak, we were able to learn more details about this feature, which for many is one of the most important when making a purchase.
In previous dates it had been pointed out that the DualSense would have a good battery life, but never over the capacity of the rechargeable battery. This will have a 1560 mAh battery, a capacity higher than those offered by the PlayStation DualShock 4.
The same informant specified that the batteries of the first DualShock 4 were 800 mAh. Subsequently, Sony made a change to improve it, so the controls of Newer PlayStation 4s feature a 1000 mAh battery.
Due to this, many believe that the 1560 mAh of the DualSense will offer greater autonomy. However, there are those who believe that the difference will not be very great, since the controller will take up more technology, which could imply a greater use of energy and, therefore, a battery life similar to that of the DualShock 4.

It’s not ‘much more’. As far as I remember, PS4 pad has 1000 mAh. New triggers and haptics, new lighting will burn it in PS5… PS3/Xbox 360 pads lasted a week. A WEEK. 8th generation, especially for PS4, is a joke in terms of battery capacity. PS4 pad lasts around 10-14 hrs.
